    Adding the Fingerprint reader to the 1535

    If I buy the housing with the fingerprint scanner, thats all i need correct? The connector for the data cable should be on the motherboard right? Anyone know?

    That's right it's integrated into the palmrest so the connection goes through with the rest, all you need to get is the palmrest that would house the Fingerprint reader and of course the fingerprint reader which comes with the palmrest. You also want to make sure you download and install the software and drivers for it.

    Hi, i recently bought a studio 15 laptop with an integrated fingerprint scanner but i cant seem to do anything with it. I have installed the driver from the dell website and from there on nothing happens.
    So could anyone help me in what i need to do next or how to use it etc..?
