I'm looking at purchasing the 9300, and I've heard from a few that ordering the 256MB memory, then upgrading yourself to the 1GB, is a good way to save money.

Is this practical? Has anyone done it?

If so, where is the best place to purchase quality hardware upgrades?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kyle

Dell's RAM is more expensive, and it should not be a problem of replacing it. If you dont know how ask someone where you buy it. Also, its sometimes better to buy the cheapest possible hard disk and then upgrade it yourself for the same reason.

Hard drives are harder to upgrade then RAM though. With ram you just put the ram in the ram slot, and *tada* its done.
