I got a 1520 with 1GB and decided to buy 2GB from crucial cause it was cheaper.

I didn't realize the second memory module was located under the keyboard.
I followed the owners manual to install the memory.
When i got to the step regarding the keyboard ribbon cable, I misunderstood and disconnected the keyboard cable from the white connector. That's attached on top of the DIMM A memory cover.

I went ahead and finished installing the memory.
I was able to get the ribbon cable back inside the connector. However, now, the QWERYUI keys are unresponsive. I've reseated the keyboard ribbon cable several times and its always the same result. the same keys do not work. I've look at the connection and as far as I can tell its a solid connection.

I went ahead and spoke to a Dell Tech. They're sending a tech to replace the keyboard in a couple of days.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what it might be ?
I'd rather get this fixed than wait a few days for the tech to come out.

    Thanks in advance.
