    Adapter slot hardware problem

    Adappter slot is not working. running Windows 10 on Dell laptop. This is the slot on the computer.

    We really need a lot more info. Please at least provide the model of your laptop, which "adapter slot" you are referring to, and how it's not working.

    Sorry, it is a Dell Inspiron model N7110. The slot is on the left hand side where you can put a camera memory card in to work with pictures. Nothing happens when I put the Sandisk in the slot. It doesn't seem like the computer registers it at all.

    Download the latest memory card reader drivers for your laptop and install them.
    If that does not work, then try older drivers.
