I purchased a Dell Inspiron 1440 last week. It came with Free DOS. So I installed Vista Home Premium 32 bit from the retail DVD. Then I installed all the 32 bit drivers from Dell's Driver Page. But even after installing the Creative Webcam driver, there is no way of accessing or activating it.

Is there any tweak to access it or do I need any other media software to activate it like Dell Media Direct?

You have the driver installed. Now you need software to access the camera. Apparently, Dell doesn't offer that software on their support page. But, any software designed to access the camera should work. Try Skype. Or any IM software that uses live video.
