So right now I can buy an e1705 with Core 2 2.0ghz and the 7900 GS for just under $1100, with the $500 coupon.

I'd like some opinions on whether or not this is a good decision. The $500 coupon expires thursday morning, and I know tomorrow is the rollout of Santa Rosa. I can't spend more than $1100, and the 3d card is important.

Do y'all think that prices will drop even more with the next round of coupons, or should I jump on this deal now?

    Thanks

If dell offered more than a $500 dollar discount I would be very surprised. Jump on it now. :p

no, it's pretty bare-bones except for the processor and GPU; I can always get more ram later.

That's a good deal and you can always upgrade the memory and HDD later after market. To quote maimone, "Jump on it now!"

i got it, with one year accidental warranty is about 1200, this is such a great computer for a great price
i am going to buy it
it would mostly likely be 6 month for a computer with same power to be about the same price range
i not going to wait that long
    go buy it
