I order the 6 and 9 cell for the m1530. When i get the laptop should i let the 6 cell battery charge first or can i change it to the 9 cell rite away? and if i do would it effect the battery life in any way?

Oh and also how do i check if its ddr3 because last time i talked to a sales rep manager he keeps telling me he is sure its a ddr2 for the graphics card

The M1530 with the 8600M has GDDR3 graphics inside and it's not the same as DDR3. The GDDR3 is the best you can get in laptops right now (and I think that even in desktops).
The 9 cell will have an effect on battery life and it will raise the laptop, which will help with cooling and typing.

No, nothing will be affected if you switch to the 9 cell right away. Just be sure to fully charge the 9 cell before you use the computer on battery power

i didnt feel like making a new topic about this so thought id ask here..

i have a 9 cell battery in my laptop, if i bought a seperate 6 cell battery would i have to purchase a different charger in order to use it? or can the same charger be used? i thought that it may overvolt it and harm to laptop.

    Thanks in advance.
