is it good for gaming or its ok?

256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT - Whats special about this? I kno this is better then 128MB , but im thinking about getting the 1420 since 1520 refurbish ran out :/

8400m GS - It's pretty decent, should be able to max out cs 1.6 and source, wc3 no problem, never tried silk road. I can play oblivion at medium settings 800x600, nfs:carbon at medium 800x600, unreal tournament 2k4 maxed at 1280x800, etc.

8600m GT is much better than the 8400m GS.
