Well, I just got my LG screen replaced with an AUO. I must say the AUO looks much better, and the colors are way more vibrant. The LG sceen I had had a lot of those weird sparkles and whites didn't look very white. However, the AUO I just received made a huge difference in color. It's much more clear. Whites are much whiter on the AUO, then on the LG I had.

I know a lot of users here dislike the AUO screen, but I am satisfied with it.

My first Vostro came with AUO screen. When I got a replacement it came with a dead pixel on the screen (I didn't check the manufacture). Neither of the screens were grainy nor had the light bleeding problems, but I decided to keep the original screen for obvious reason. Also the original screen seemed a tad brighter (or simply my imagination)).

My WXGA glossy AUO screen is perfect. I couldn't imagine a better screen to be honest, period.
