    ATI4570 video adaptor stops and recovers by itself

    So I have the laptop for last 3 weeks and today I was playing some AVCHD videos using Windows Media player and then I get this message on the right of the laptop with a red cross after my screen goes blank for a second that the
    video adaptor has stopped and recovered.

    It happend twice in about 10 mins intervals and both times I was playing a video. Anyone knows what is going on?
    anyone with similar experience. I have the latest driver from Dell website.

    Ok the problem has not happened again after the two times I noticed.
    Anyone knows how to get to the place where you can view all failure messages and infon in Win 7? I remember seeing it when I first installed Win7 but now I do not know how to get there.

    you might be able to find these in event viewer.

    i also had some driver problems with my 512 mb ati 4570 but haven't had any in awhile. what you can try to do if the problem keeps occuring is download the generic radeon mobility drivers from the ati website. no need for mobility modder anymore afaik
