    ATI X1450 in Dell 1505 anytime soon?

    I just read here that ATI just released the x1450. How long before we can expect to see those in the e1505 line?

    You probably won't be able to upgrade your current cards. Patience DSadamoto. I'm sure it will appear in the E1505 before to long. Just watch the news bits here.

    A cursory glance at the specs of both the x1450 and the x1400 on ATI's site shows they have the same capabilities!

    I guess, unless I missed something, the only difference is power consumption?

    the 1450 wont be a big jump from the 1400, its just a refresh, at most you could expect 10 to 15% performance gains

    i highly doubt it being available this year or even for e1505 if dell decides to change line for next year new processor line, santa rosa, most likely, it will only be released with next yr wave of notebooks
