Does anyone here recommend a specific set of drivers that are optimal (especially for gaming?). I've heard of the Omega drivers. Can anyone vouch for their "ability?"

Many people on this site use the Omega drivers for gaming. They're default more tweaked than the standard ATI drivers, plus, you can overclock your card to give even more performance.

I saw a small decrease in benchmark scores after installing the omegas, but a great increase in gaming performance. It probably isn't the omega tweaks that did it, it is the fact that they are updated far more frequently than the ones on Dell's website.
