This is driving me bananas. Whenever I have my external spakers, and power cord plugged in, I hear radio stations from my external speakers. Its as if someone close by is listening to the radio, and also catching the sound. If I unplug either one, the noise disapears. Dell says its my external speakers. Could it be possible its my power cord? Any fixes for this? Thanks.

I'm going to go with Dell on this one. External speakers can pick up RF interference (had a set that would give me a heads up before my cell phone rang). I would imagine that it is possible for internal speakers to do the same thing, but since the cables are so short I imagine that you would have to be pretty close to a strong source. Speaking of which, are you close to a radio transmitter? You may be SOL if your house sits under a 50k watt tower unless you purchased some lead bricks or built yourself a faraday cage...

The speakers are a very easy thing to check out and fix, so I would just start there. Since you do not state that you are having the same problem with your internal speakers it only leads me to believe that your external speakers are in fact the source of the problem. Try buying a better set.
