    Hi,

I want to buy another ac adaptor for my dell studio 1749. I've looked on the dell site but can't see anything that matches that description.

Anyone know where I can get one of these in the uk?

    Thanks.

Why don't you try ebay? Ebay is usually flooded with Dell adapters. Are you looking for a 130w or a 90w? Specify which and may be someone can help.

Bigger the better. It's always good to have some extra space to breathe. Y'know? :D
My 1749 came with a 90w adapter and I replaced it with a 130w from my SXPS 16. Look for PA-4E on ebay. Make sure you search for "dell genuine pa-4e" so you get the genuine Dell adapter and not those cheap knock offs.

    Cheers.

    I'll try fleabay then.

maybe being bit wussy but ... 130w wont cause any damage, will it?

Nope. It will charge your battery faster while having more room to breathe(runs cooler than the stock 90w).
