So I have the GMA 4500MHD (i know this lappy is only for during breaks..).
the stock clock is supposed to be 533mhz according to notebookcheck
BUT according to GPU Z it says that the stock clock is 475mhz.. So I just thought dell underclocked my Adamo to that to save battery.
The funny thing is, in the current clock, it is set as 640mhz.. which is frequency for 4700MHD...
One other weird thing i noticed from GPU Z is that the gpu for Adamo i think is supposed to be GS45 (99% sure), but it says it is GM45 according to gpu z. I understand that they both have some kind of similar platform and all, but I mean they are technically different..
So could this be the case of the GPU Z program not correctly identifying the hardware and its specs? Is there any other software I could use to check it out?
Thank you for your help!
BTW I did not OC anything

anyone please??
after extensive search i found this one person who commented on this site that the new driver from intel boosted the speed up to 640mhz.. but he didnt really seem knowledgeable about it and that one comment was the only that i could find...
so anyone else?? -
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Probably GPUZ's fault. It reads all of my GM45s as 640MHz/475MHz. All official spec sheets maintain a max clock of 533MHz, so that's the number I'd believe.
Oftentimes CPUZ/GPUZ don't actually read anything and just display a preset number.
ABSURD Stock Graphics Frequency... Need HELP!!!
