I've been poking around trying to determine what version motherboard is currently being shipped with the m1330 notebooks in the U.S. Interestingly, a few comments were made about a new A05 motherboard (not BIOS). Here are the threads:

    Message #173 here: Re: ** XPS M1330 A04 motherboard exchange thread **

Message #4 here: m1330 - What motherboard version is shipping??

Anyone have any other information or can anyone confirm this with their Dell contacts? Of course we'd all love to know what it "fixes".

Yea, typo...sorry it happens to us all. If you actually read the tread you'll see that I knew it was a m1330. And I don't beileve there is a way to edit the title.

I always love wasting a thread on someone correcting my typos. At any rate, can anyone else chime in on the actual issue at hand?

try calling DELL and ask? Ask their customer service, their sales reps and their tech support...see what they all have to say, draw a conclusion, then report back!
