Just got my 1330 on 9/6. Anyway, it came with BIOS A05, but the only BIOS on Dell's support site is A02.
That's a lot of different BIOS versions in only 2 months!
Anyone got A03 or A04?? Just curious.....

I got mine on August 8 and it has the A02 version.

I got mine on August 8th and it has A02

And lookie lookie what I found!!!

HOWEVER......it doesn't work. 03-05 do not work under Vista32 -

A bios update would be great news for fixing some of the small problems I've noticed. Hopefully A03, A04, or A05 show up soon!

That page is dead...Ide want to try it under X64.

Looks like those are auto generated files as I can put in "28738758383" for the revision and still get a download (which doesn't work).
-
I got mine 3 days ago and it's A05.

With all of the other issues that this notebook is reportedly having I wouldn't put it past Dell to have installed the '2' upside down at this point.
But jokes aside, here's hoping that this apparent 'A05' revision signifies some real progress. -
A02 for me, 8/8

I got my replacement on 8/28, its A02... Weird considering others shipped well before mine have A05
-
got mine 4 days ago A05

Can anyone here shed any light on the differences?
-
A02 for me too, received 20th August.
-
I think those with A05 can generate a backup of their BIOS which can be used for those with A02 to upgrade theirs...
-
I got mine in September with A05.

Does anyone know where we can download the A05 bio6? I find my battery time less with A06.
-
My battery time is EXACTLY the same, it's just Vista who seems to count down a bit differently. I've measured this Friday: downloading torrents on battery power (9 cell)
Took me 4 hours and 53 mins to drain to a full shutdown.
With my A02 bios it took me 4 hours and 53mins.
so no difference here
A05 BIOS for m1330??
