The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. ..to all of you that have contributed to faqs and informative post here in the boards. I have received my E1505, installed the new ram, and finished with the clean install of windows. You guys made this very painless.

I am very happy with the purchase :D

    E1505
    Core Duo 1.86
    2 gb mushkin ram
    ATI X1400
60 gb hard drive <-- It was nice to reclaim the ~8 gb from the dell restore partition.

About the only thing I would change is going with the matt screen instead of the glossy. I am sure I will get used to it though.
