    A possible fix for those with the grainy screens

    I was just looking around for info on the new dell grainy screens and came across a certain peice of software by Microsoft that is especially designed to enhance LCD display picture quality.

    I didn't spend much time reading up about it, I don't know if its been posted already either. Maybe it is already integrated into windows. It might be something to try though?

    This is actually just a technology which makes fonts look smoother on screen. The grainess problem is caused by a coating put onto the screen ie physical problem not software

    It's included in the OS. I already have it turned on.

    Oh well, I tried. I hope my vostro doesn't have this problem. I'm not that picky on most things, but I'm sure the grainy screen would definately get annoying.
