So, during my chats with Dell CSRs I was offered an upgrade to Next Business Day shipping. As if my experiences with Dell weren't bad enough they where "unable to change the shipping type in time" on my order...so it shipped DHL Ground which is 1-5 business days. Just a parting screw job from Dell Realistically it is probably only an extra day delay, but it does suck that they didn't honor their word.
If they offered you a Next Business Day shipping upgrade than you should probably double check that they are making good on their word.

Mine was shipped FedEx Standard Overnight. And they offered me the free Next Business Day shipping. I guess I was just lucky.

When they gave me free next day shipping it was called DHL express or something like that. They gave me next day shipping with my replacement, and they said that it would be UPS who came.

Well, I wasn't upgraded to NBD by Dell...I actually paid for it at time of order. And they still shipped my 1330 out by DHL Express Ground. But guess what? It got delivered next business day.

Ya, Mieske I hear what you are saying. Most likely it will be delivered today. However, in the case that it isn't I will be in Las Vegas next week and will miss the delivery. My point is that when they upgrade you to Next Business Day shipping it is value added to your purchase, and you plan around the information they do give you. When they do not keep their word it is not only obviously dishonest...it causes problems when you planned around the original time frame.
