Umm , I've got a few questions about E1505 and hoping to receive a good respond
1.If I wish to get a higher resolution screen(WSXGA) n remove dead pixels , can I do that by replacing the display screen?
2.In the Dell folder on C factory setting) there's a "i386" folder(about 1gb) , what is it use for?
3.Have anyone tried the flashBIOS update from Dell? Is it stable?

I can tell you about the flashBIOS, it seems very stable thus far, i've been on it for a couple days now and haven't had any problems.

1. yes
2. those are xp installation files
3. of course -
The i386 folder is a copy of the installation files from the XP install CD. Having those files on the hard drive should allow for easier installation of drivers, etc, without having to dig out your XP CD (assuming you even have one). If you need the space, you could burn that directory to a CD-R and then delete from the hard drive. If you do this, you'll need to be prepared to re-point XP to the CD whenever it needs drivers or other files.

Thanks 4 the helpful respond
but if you said that I could remove dead pixels just by replacing the screen
where do you think I can buy it?
