I might be buying the D630 soon so here are a few questions I need answered:
    1) Is the NVS 135M capable of playing CS:S on medium graphics @ 1440x900 comfortably?
    2) Why is it more expensive to buy through my university's site on Dell rather than buying it through the small business site? (costs more with same specs/warranty)
    3) One RAM slot is under the keyboard as shown in this review. I already have 2x1GB sticks and don't want to buy extra RAM through Dell. Is it worth the hassle to get at the one under the keyboard?

    Thanks!

    1) from what i hear, with medium or low settings you should be ok, could be wrong though
    2) small business will get you a much better deal because they bundle warranties...call them up and you will be able to purchase it from them, its what i did
    3) there's a great tutorial on how to replace the ram under there, its not that hard, and itll save you alot of money. read the tutorial here to see if you think you can handle it, and if so, then just get the 512mb stick from dell.

    cheers

    1) yes, the nvs 135m should be able to play it. I played halo on max settings and it was smooth. In fact, i did a benchmark for the NVS 135m. Here is the link http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=137438

    2) Latitude is for business, not aimed towards consumer. I purchased mine through my parent's business.

    3) If your careful, and don't want to waste money buying cheap memory ram from dell. I recommend you get only the 1GB 2dimms from dell, and then go and purchased all the ram you need elsewhere. That's what i did.

itll do what you need it to. i'm no big pc gamer, but occasionally i do.
i try to let my xbox360 do all the gaming...with its 3 cores and separate graphics processor...its much better at things like that. i just cant wait to watch it on my 22inch monitor through the hdmi!

anyway, hope the d630 treats you well!
