This is my first post to this forum I have searched the forums but haven't found an answer to my first question:

#1 Some of the systems on Dell's outlet list - 13.3 inch WXGA Slim and Light LED Display - yet do not list the system as having the .03 webcam.

I did not realize there was in existence a m1330 without a webcam - I thought the regular WXGA screen had a 2.0 webcam and the slim LED had the .03 webcam.

Does the listing just mistakenly leave out the webcam details or is there indeed m1330's without the webcam.

#2 I have read a few complaints against the Dell Wireless 1505 Draft-n card on this forum and notebookforums - Should I avoid it like the plague? What about the 3945 a/g?

Am I right that I should probably stick with the Intel 4965? I have the 4965 on my 1330 and utilize 802.11n.

#3 I want to select a system with the new Penryn processor so I am shooting for either a 8300 2.4 or 9300 2.5 - Any downside to the new Penryn for those who are using the 64bit Vista? I will be going the 64bit route thanks to the expertise on this forum - btw this is one of the best forums on the net!

    #1 - I don't know...sorry.
#2 - 802.11n is a draft standard, so there is no guarantee that any pairing of hardware will work well. And Dell WiFi cards are no good. I'd recommend either Intel card, even if it has draft n support you can easily use 802.11g. Go with the cheaper Intel card.
#3 - No downside to having a processor like that at all. But you'll find limited driver support and few benefits to 64bit Vista.

All M1330's come with a webcam, as you have stated. Dell probably just didnt list the camera, but it is included.

Is the 3945 802.11a/g Wireless Mini Card an Intel or Dell card?
