    I've been searching in dell outlet and there are some XPS M140 for under $750

    These are the specs: XPS M140 Pentium M - 1730 Genuine Windows XP Media Center 2005 14.1 60 GB EIDE Hard Drive (7200 RPM) 512 DVD/RW 56 2200 Wireless Card

    while a e1505 with these specs Inspiron 6400 / E1505 Intel Core Duo - 1660 Genuine Windows XP Home 15.4 60 GB EIDE Hard Drive (5400 RPM) 1000 CD/RW for $650

    I really need a dvd burner.
    But my wuestuion is what are the differences between the XPS M140 and the e1505

    you can also get e1505 with DVD burner. the main difference in the models you listed here is the processor - e1505 has the newer, core duo one, while xps has previous generation processor - which might be enough for your needs. I suggest to fill in the form for more help
