    haha just looking at the Feb 2, 2006 around the time I bought my E1705 and seeing where the big things were the widescreen, dual-core, 256 Vid, and up to 2GB of RAM haha

    LOL.... Brings back fond memories of the first machine I bought when I got to the States to study back in '96. A DELL Dimension XPS. The first machine built with a Pentium 200Mhz. I was a speed demon in its days. :D

    from 1997. Exactly 10 years later, we have the option for 4GB RAM in Inspirons.

    RAM capacity has equaled the disk capacity from 10 years ago. Are we going to have 1TB ram DIMMs in consumer laptops by 2017? And Bill Gates predicted that 640KB will be enough for most users.
