    A Bug crawled into my lcd and now it's stuck...is that covered under warranty?

    A little worm or something. I'm not really up on identifying little crawling things. It's actually underneath the matte section, but in front of the light.

    Not user serviceable as it's actually inside the LCD component. I haven't called Dell tech support yet and I'm tempted to do so, but I'm wondering if they would even consider replacing the screen. Thoughts suggestions?

    It's a refurbed e6400 with the three year warranty.

    wouldnt hurt to contact Dell.

    heh. That is true. I guess I wasn't ready to formulate a very direct question.

    So. More directly: How does Dell deal with strange service things. Does anyone have any experience?

    Search around. There are threads that have computers with dust behind the screen. You dont have to say it is a bug. Just tell them dust is behind it.
