    :mad2: pissed...how come I ordered 9 cell but the laptop still came with 6 cell battery....can I call dell and ask them to ship me the right one? :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Yes just call XPS support but think about it first.

    The 6 cell apparently has over 3 hours life which is comparable to most other laptops with the 9 cell...

    So....why would you want it sticking out the back.

    If you paid for the 9 cell, you should get the 9 cell. Simple as that. Call and have them send you the proper battery. They should also pay for return shipping.

    If you sound really mad and tell them that your very unhappy with the wait time and if you ship it back it will interupt something your doing and they should credit you a free 9 cell and ship it to you :) plus your 6 cell
