    No, I don't think it would. The only problem with it is, the one you have linked is a SATA interface. The E1705 only has an IDE interface. I think you can get the same seagate hard disk in an IDE interface as well.

    the 1705 is sata

    according the outlet I see system with either or, so I assume it supports both, sata would be the way to go, all the new systems are configured with sata
