I just got the updated bios A05, and the note said that it was changed to get better battery life. Has anybody noticed a change?

They even have a windows installer, so the BIOS updates are pretty friendly now. Dell updates frequently, so owners should check for updates every so often.

if the bios improves battery life by sacrificing cooling, thats not a good way to go about saving the battery life at all by letting your lappy get warmer.

i have also noticed that it switches to the full cpu speed more often when plugged up than with a04.
