i m having trouble deciding between upgrading to the UXGA screen with trubrite, or upgrade to the 60 gig 7200rpm HD. is the UXGA that much better than the XGA+ screen?

It depends on your point of view. You should go and take a look at some laptops around your area and take a look at those with glossy screens. This is labeled truelife, xbrite, or whatever the company decides to call it. Those types of screens are supposed to have better colors so that blacks look darker than they do on normal screens. Perhaps it's just me, but I can't really tell the difference... Also the resolution supported by the UXGA screen is 1900 x 1200 so more stuff can fit on the screen. However to make stuff fit it makes them smaller. From what I've seen at my local electronics store the 1440 x 900 resolution looks perfectly fine on a 17 inch screen, and also I don't really like the xbrite glossiness. Look from the side of the screen and you can basically tell which has the xbrite/truelife/whatever screens since they will show store lights, people, etc...
Ultimately it depends on if you really want the higher res for more viewing, and the glossy screen. It looks good on paper, but you may not like it in reality so you really should just take a look and see if it suits your taste.

Upgrading the HD later will be simplier then the screen later , so if you want both then go with the screen .

I've pointed all the wxga faults in my review and pros too , so its basicly a matter if you need higher res , will you use it ?

For the 7k60 its the best upgrade to do , specially that now their price rocketed due to demand .
