I am looking for a nice backpack for my 9300, I really like the one offered by Alienware, but I have a problem toting around a Dell in an alienware backpack (call me what you will).

Does anyone know where I can get this backpack, without all of the alienware logos? Or another backpack like it?

I'm getting my 9300 sometime today, and I ordered a backpack case for it from Dell, when I place my order. Perhaps you should get back on their website and look around.

The item number was 310-6293, but I forgot how much it was.

    Good luck.

$85 seems pretty pricey for a backpack.

I had a Dell case as part of my order, until I decided that I didn't want anything that said "Dell" on it. I was concerned people would see the logo and immediately know I was carrying a computer--an invitation to theft.

Dell sells cases by other brands, including Targus and Kensington, which you might want to look at at Amazon.com because the prices are lower.

Here are two cases from Amazon.com which should fit your Inspiron 9300. (The dimensions of which are Width: 15.5" x Height: 1.6" x Depth: 11.3". )

    Targus TXL617 XL ($47 after mail-in rebate)

    Kensington 62238 ($49)

I'm thinking about getting a Targus backpack to fit my Inspiron 6000.

Not sure, but this looks like the exact alienware bag minus the branding. I'm getting an XPS gen 2 and am thinking of ordering one.
