    Hi There,

I have a 9300 with a Pentium M 2.0 GHz that's starting to feel pretty pokey, but I love the chassis and its 17" WUXGA resolution. What's the feasibility (if any) of replacing the mobo, cpu and RAM with newer (optimally c2d) parts?

    Thanks!

I'd only recommend upgrading the RAM. The 9300 wasn't designed for the C2D so that isn't a possibilty. A motherboard upgrade wouldn't net any benefit in that case, plus laptop motherboards are very expensive. If you like the form factor and need something with a bit more zip you should look at the Studio 17 or Inspiron 1720.
