    Can any1 tell me where the dell backup/recovery disk is. I need to reformat it but cannot find the program. Thanks

    yea...it is in the start menu->dell accessories->dell OS Recovery CD

    if its not there, restart a couple of times and check your start menu again. If that doesn't work call Dell, and request the CD...tell them the Recovery Disk program is not on your laptop. Some users didn't have the program installed.

    Or you could just yell at them through Dell Chat. I did that and got my disc three days later free of charge.

    I chatted and also got it in mail very fast (2-3 days). It also has a nice handbook with it. Not that I'd look at it. But yea, why not get a nice copy.

    Thanks, it wasnt on my computer so i sent them an email last night, and they said 3-4 days...But today around 11 am they arrived with the CD's. Very fast shipping
