The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    9100 and internet

    I've just got my 9100 and so far everything seems fine. I have noted that on surfing the net with IE6 some picturs are looking somewhat blocky/fuzzy. I had read a couple of posts here about that and a solution for it a while back, but now I can't seem to find them. I have also noted the slow loading of certain pages (eg the background of the notebookreview site here) which others had noted - if someone could point me to those posts or offer advice that would be appreciated.

    Found the post - for others interested the thread starts with smallapple on 4/19/04 - the suggestion by Magiciaen worked great.
