    Hi guys:

I am planning on purchasing a vostro 1400. But dell.com doesn't offer 6 cell battery option to the build I want instead it only offers 9 cell one and it stick out. I dont want to buy an extra 6 cell battery. Is there a way that i can get them manually modifier my build from 9 cell battery to 6 cell battery and subtract about $30 from subtotal ? Thank you for your time.

I can get the 6-cell option on the website. It depends on the link you clicked.

I don't know how to respond to your posts anymore. Your first reply doesn't help at all. Its more like you want me to ask again. Well, I asked again nicely. Then you answered with exact what I don't want.

You do realize you can click the Celery link and then choose a higher processor, right? Anyway, it's easy to see you can choose the 6 cell. John B should come over to your house and show you personally, though.

coldplay...if you choose the option on the left that John B linked to, you can choose to upgrade the processor from a Celeron processor and keep the option for a 6 cell battery.

You can also try calling and talking to a Dell rep to see what they'll do for you.

it costs way more to upgrade from low end configuration.
