anyone think, dell will update the inspiron's with 8700 anytime soon?

or possibly update the hard drive for the 1720 and 1700 to 7200rpm?

Its reported that the upcoming XPS M1730 will support the 8700M GT. The notebook should be coming out later this month. The standard E1720 may support the graphics card, however, its unlikely, as Dell usually like to keep the fastest card reserved for just the XPS line.

^^^ Damn XPS snobs...! (just kidding) Actually, I won't complain much about my DDR2 8600 b/c a huge part of the reason I chose the 1720 was the incredible combo of price for the performance.
