Install drivers?
-
Yeah you need to install drivers
-
How do i do this, and which drivers?
-
I'd take a look at laptopvideo2go for drivers. You need nvidia drivers. The newest ones will work fine, unless you plan on overclocking.
-
well i tryed the 158's and i extract them and they install fine, then i go to change resolution and it says the exact same thing!

-
Yes i did im not computer alliterate, its just im not very used to vista!
-
This is the message i get when installin:
The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your correct hardware!! -
158 drivers did not work for me either. I am currently using 128 drivers on notebook.
-
these were 162's plz help!!
-
Ah, so the drivers weren't actually getting installed. You need to download the modded inf to allow support for the mobile cards. You need to overwrite the configuration file in the directory where the installation files were extracted to.
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers
Go there and get the appropriate inf file as well. -
