Title explains it all, Im curious what the popular opinion is, keep with the dell drivers or go nvidia betas?

The Dell drivers are a lot less likely to get regular updates, NVidia will continually update theirs.
-
Yes install nVidia moded drivers. BTW they are not all Beta, and DELL drivers are also based on nVidia drivers (therefore not altogether a different thing).

I tried to install the forceware 163.11 drivers by just double clicking the icon, got the following "could not locate compatable drivers with your hardware" error (this is after I uninstalled dells vid drivers):
When I went the manual route, going through device manager and selecting the .inf file from the extracted files from the 163.11 it read my card as an 8300GS when its really an 8600.
ANyone know what the deal is on how to get these things appropriatly installed.? -
nm, got it figured out.
I uninstalled my dell drivers and for some reason when my card was listed as a VGA it thought it was an 8300...reinstalled Dell drivers, went to install Nvidia forceware and all was good. weird. -

Read this guide on how to install the modified drivers.
I run the 162.13s on my 1420, they had a small gain in 3DMark06 over the stock Dell drivers.
