I been searching and sorry if someone else has already posted. But does anyone have the instructions on how to change the DVD/CD modular caddy for the Inspiron 8600. I have recently bought the nec nd-6650a from newegg.com but it doesnt come with the caddy so I want to use the old one but dont know how to if anyone knows please explain or provide a link thank.

Hey, i have the same model lappy. What you do is that there is this little thing you push in. This thing is all the way to the bottom right of the caddy. If it doesnt come out when you push it, there is a screw that needs to be remeoved simply by flipping that laptop over and unscrewing it. Then you push it in. That little thing ejects and you pull that. Will it work now?
