    hey all, iv had this laptop for about a week now, there was alot of software installed that i wouldnt use, so i uninstalled this stuff, and i have been installing/unistalling stuff for a while, and i now know everythng i want/dont want, so what i would like to do is format the c drive, and do a clean install of xp and install all the drivers/software that i want, however im sketchy on how to do this. i have two driver disks that came with this, can anybody give me a fool proof guide as how to do this? any help welcome, thanks guys

    Hello,

    I've done this many times and it is fairly easy. Check out this link on Dells web site first. It's walks you thru step by step. You can also print it for future use. I'm sure you will be fine using this data. Remember, you will need to install all of your drivers and software after the installation is finished.
