I'm thinking of buying the 8600 but had one important question.
Does it support using an external monitor as a second desktop?
Right now my desktop PC with it's ATI video card, has 2 monitors connected, and each one is a separate desktop though they are both connected. I believe it's called dual-head??
This is an important feature to me as I need to have several apps running at one time across 2 monitors.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

Yes, I'm not aware of any notebooks that don't support this.
