    8600 GT or harddrive causing the Headphone noise?

    my friend got the same laptop i did, the 1520, and the only differences is our graphics card and our hard drive...

    he has the 128 mb nvidea one, while I have the 8600 GT

    he has 100 GB 5400 RPM, I have the 160 GB 7200 RPM harddrive..

    so i think the headphone noise is caused by one of those two..maybe both?

    anybody have specs that dispute any of the claims i have just made?

    I think its cause by the processor... if you do some search, you will find similiar post or alike. :p

    i believe its the processor, particularly it being the core 2 duo and a faulty motherboard
