    85Wh Battery Life on Vostro 1500?

    Can anyone out there tell me what the actual battery life with the 85wh battery is on the vostro 1500? (I imagine if you had a 15" inspiron or XPS with the 85Wh battery it would be pretty close as well) I have difficulty believing the 7:30 advertised by Dell.

    General-usage (web surfing, word processing) will probably get you somewhere in the the 4-5 hour range.

    Yeah, i get 4-5 hours surfing with the screen on 3 brightness. The 7:30 is with screen all the way down, all wireless off and not really doing anything with the laptop.
