Okay, yesterday the 7900GS in my e1705 was running great, but today, for some reason, it is running terribly! I have the notebook plugged in, and it is set for maximum power. I also am running Xtreme G MobileForce Driver 84.56 v. 2.40. Yesterday, i was running CS:S at over 100fps, today it wont even break 20. Also, I had a pervious 3DMark05 score of over 6000...today it was 438... What is wrong with my notebook?? I need help! I have NO clue what could be wrong! No overclocking was done or anything, it just stopped working correctly for some reason...?!

Looks like your card went kaput. Try installing the dell drivers and see what happens.

I shut the system down for a while and let the GPU cool down...and now its back to normal...just scored 6295 in 3Dmark05...that was the strangest thing...

If you need fans, I would use I8kfanGUI. It is probably one of the best pieces of software for an e1705. Works perfectly on keeping the system cool. And it's free... :)
