My cuisine brought his 9400 laptop over, it has a 7900GS, vista home premium.. when I checked the vram, it showed 512mb, 256mb dedicated+256mb shared

While in mine, the one in my sig, it shows 256mb dedicated, and no shared BS... Is it a driver issue/bug ( using dell's drivers)?

I see that this post is old but I wish someone would offer a lil insight on this because my 1705 w/7900gs also shows 256mb dedicated + 256mb shared and it is using dx10, according to the NVIDIA contorl panel.

The shared memory is due to Turbocache, which uses part of the System memory when gaming/intensive graphic tasks.
