    Does 7900gs card supports NVIDIA® PureVideo™ technology?

    Apropo:

Having JUST received my M1710 today, I'm still figuring out some stuff.

HOWEVER ... from what I've read SO FAR, the 7900 GS supports Purevideo -- but NOT Purevideo HD.

    More later ...

I think the only difference between PureVideo and PureVideo HD is that HD is on a system that has a HD or Blu-Ray DVD player. I think the 7900 GS can support both, it all just depends on what type of DVD player that you have. You would need the appropriate HD drivers from NVIDIA, but the 7900 GS can handle HD content fine enough.
