Just got off the phone with the dell people confirming my order for the 9400. I made it very clear that I wanted the 7900 GPU vs the 7800. At first they said it wasn't availiable in canada then I said it was in the XPS. Then they said it can't go in the 9400, I said it was offered in the e1705 (american version). After that they didn't have much to say other than it can't be done. I asked them when it would be released and mabe i should wait blah blah blah. Basically the guy checked with tech services charged me an extra $60 and i'll be getting a 7900 GPU in my Inspiron 9400. Moral of the storey, fellow Canucks if you want the 7900 GPU and its not an option on the web site ask for it cause it can be done.
    (steps off soapbox)

    Cheers

The bad thing about Canada is this

The good thing is, Dell laptops are cheaper in canada

    Its a win/lose situation
