I have bought a Dell Inspiron 3521 with 7670m pre installed with Ubuntu.

I have reformatted the whole computer, and installed win7 professional.

Then I have installed the drivers of the laptop. All went fine but for the 7670m graphics card.

It always shows its as "Standard VGA graphics adapter". I have installed the original drivers from Dell and the installation was successful. However, the laptop still not recognize the card in device manger.

I tried a full clean install for the 7670m and still the same problem occurs.

The other card Intel HD graphics is ok, and runs but I cannot run 7670m.

Is there anyway that I can make the device manager recognize the 7670m installed in the laptop?

I have the same laptop and the same problem. I read that the Intel HD is being used by default and the Radeon card activates only when higher performance is required. Not sure if it's true though.
