    Hello all,

Is here any Dell Inspiron 7520 owner who uses Ubuntu as OS? I removed Windows as soon as the laptop arrived so I don't know how it is in Windows but in Ubuntu the internal microphone produces a static noise. I guess its Ubuntu's fault as my last laptop also had same problem in Ubuntu but not in Windows. I've already added tsched=0, changed 10 to 5 in frame buffer or something and changed frequency to 96000. This along with PulseAudio volume control has made the sound better but the static background noise is still present. Is it same with your laptop as well? And have you managed to fix it?
