Use the search box on the top right hand corner of your browser and put in your search term, say 7200rpm 5400rpm. -

You might get weird answers, so be careful. If the person answers owns a 5400 rpm, they'll tell you it's a lot quieter, just as fast, and overall better. If they own a 7200 rpm they'll tell you its super quiet, dose nothing to the battery, and works like 3 times faster then the 5400 rpm.
Be warned. -
ehh ill just probably go for the 7200rpm one
-
The newest 7200 rpm are not any noisier or hotter.
-
Noise? Slight increase.
Battery? Slight decrease.
Heat? Slight increase.
Nothing significant, it's a good upgrade since you get a lot for very little.
7200rpm vs. 5400 loudeness/battery/heat
